My Approach

Assess

No child is an island. An evaluation and understanding of the environment, influences, and coping methods currently being used is the basis of providing strategies for success. Each child, learning style, family dynamic and educational setting is unique which is why the services are personalized to the needs of your child.

Develop

Establishing a trusting relationship with your child and family is critical.  It is a partnership at Estero Speech and Language Services. You are taught how to teach your child to succeed in everyday life events. Individualized goals and strategies are provided to generalize improved learning and communication skills across different situations. Personalized intervention with family, educational and medical support is offered to optimize your child’s success.

Advocate

Advocacy is critical when forming a plan for success. Any plan should include your child’s interests, learning style, parent goals and educational support. Collaboration with daycare providers and teachers ensure a more solidified approach to intervention.  I work to ensure your child has the support across learning environments. You are your child’s most important advocate.
